Toucan has been getting Somerset riding since 2012. Our goal is simple: make sure every rider who trains with us is genuinely safe on busy modern roads — and gets the absolute most enjoyment from their bike, whatever they ride.

We book and name your Module 1 and Module 2 tests for you at no extra cost, and our 3–4 day courses include the test days themselves. No hidden extras, no surprises.

Our secret? We have our own 285ft × 70ft Module 1 training area right here in Glastonbury — and on Saturdays we take riders to the Taunton Mod 1 test centre itself, so test day feels familiar. Most schools simply don't offer that.

Choose wisely

Not all training is equal

The DVSA allows up to four riders per instructor on the training area and two on the road. Some schools stretch this to the limit — or quote a cheaper price for a day that ends early. At Toucan, a full day means at least six hours of real riding time, not counting breaks.
